Dill and Lemon Steamed Salmon

Spread the love
 3

Need a super fast week-night dinner? You can’t miss with this simple steamed salmon recipe. The best part? You can get it on the table in under 10 minutes!

Steamed salmon recipe with lemon and dill

For a nice flavor boost, try it with my Sweet and Spicy Salsa recipe.

Dill and Lemon Steamed Salmon

4 – 4 oz. salmon fillets with skin
2 Tbsp butter, melted
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 fresh lemon, juiced
1 Tbsp fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Mix melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, dill and Worcestershire sauce in a microwave safe dish. Lay salmon skin-side up in dish and cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on high 4 – 5 minutes for medium (or 3 minutes for medium-rare).

To serve, place the salmon skin-side down on a plate and spoon some the liquid over it. Add fresh-cracked pepper and salt to taste. Serve with a fresh salad and the vegetable side of your choice. (I like it with pan-grilled asparagus).

Serves 4

Note: cooking times will vary depending on your microwave and the thickness of the salmon fillets.

Enjoy!
