Made with jalapeno peppers, cream cheese, bacon and seasoning, these little treats offer a spicy and flavorful way to get the party started.

They take just a few minutes to make and will have your guests begging for the recipe!
Directions:

Preheat the broiler & move the rack one notch above middle. Then, slice peppers in half and remove any seeds.
Using a butter knife, fill each jalapeno half with cream cheese.
Sprinkle with cajun seasoning and/or red peppers.
Wrap each pepper with a slice of bacon and use a toothpick to secure it. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Tip: For healthier appetizers, briefly pan fry or microwave the bacon first (leaving it soft, so its still pliable), then gently blot between paper towels. This will help remove some excess fat before broiling.
Broil until the bacon becomes crisp, 10-12 minutes per side.
